As the weather warms and thoughts turn to spring, it is the perfect time to introduce gardening books to your children. Whether fiction or nonfiction, children will be inspired by these titles to explore the world around them. The Curious Garden and The Gardener introduce the possibilities and beauty of urban gardening. Hopefully My Garden will encourage children to daydream about what they would like to plant in a garden no matter how outrageous. Children can learn more about the plant life cycle and the Fibonacci series through the wonderful photographs in Pumpkin Circle and Growing Patterns. For additional titles about plants and gardening be sure to check out our Lois Ehlert author study.
